Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before installation, ensure your stem is compatible with a 31.8mm handlebar clamp. Measure the current inner diameter of your grips to confirm compatibility with the 19mm end section or to prepare for the use of adapter rings. If trimming the handlebar, mark your desired length carefully and use a proper pipe cutter or hacksaw with a guide for a clean, straight cut. Install grips ensuring they fit snugly over the 19mm end or the adapter rings. Attach brake levers and shifters using the included adapter rings if necessary, ensuring they fit securely onto the 22.2mm diameter created by the rings.
Compatibility: The handlebar features a 31.8mm clamp diameter, which is compatible with most modern mountain bike stems. The 19mm inner diameter for grips is designed for specific junior grips, but adapter rings are provided to allow the use of standard 22.2mm brake levers and shifters.
Care: Clean the handlebar regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Regularly check that all bolts securing the handlebar to the stem are tight and that grips and levers remain secure.
