Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure proper installation, the subfloor must be thoroughly cleaned, dried, and leveled; any dust or debris can prevent the adhesive from bonding permanently. The tiles are compatible with most flat, non-porous surfaces like vinyl, smooth concrete, or ceramic tile. Once installed, care is straightforward: maintain the flooring by using a soft mop or a damp cloth with mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing pads, as these can dull the textured finish over time. Periodically checking the edges for any lifting during the first few weeks can help you address potential adhesion issues before they become permanent.
