Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure the engine is off and the fuel pressure in the system has been relieved. To install, lightly coat the new filter's rubber gasket with a thin layer of clean fuel or engine oil to ensure a proper seal. Spin the filter on by hand until it makes contact with the base, then tighten according to your vehicle's service manual specifications—typically three-quarters of a turn beyond contact. Never overtighten with tools as this can damage the threads or gasket. Compatibility spans various models from Isuzu, Nissan, and Toyota; always cross-reference your specific vehicle's OEM part number before purchase.
