Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
The Crayola Color Sticks require no assembly. They are ready to use straight out of the package.
Sharpening:
To maintain a fine point for detailed work, use a high-quality pencil sharpener designed for colored pencils or crayons. A sharpener with a wide blade slot is recommended for the hexagonal shape. Ensure the sharpener is clean to avoid smearing colors.
Compatibility:
These color sticks are compatible with most paper types, including drawing paper, cardstock, and coloring book pages. They can also be used on mixed-media surfaces.
Care:
- Store the color sticks in their original packaging or a designated pencil case to keep them organized and protected.
- Keep away from extreme heat, which can cause the wax to soften.
- To clean the sticks, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure caps or storage covers (if applicable) are securely closed after use to prevent drying or damage.
