FAQs

Is this headboard compatible with slatted bed frames?

This headboard is primarily designed for UK standard divan bases. It may not attach directly to slatted frames without an adapter.

What are the exact dimensions?

The headboard measures 51cm in height, 150cm in width, and 10cm in depth.

Does it come with all necessary fixings?

Yes, it is supplied with 24-inch struts to connect the headboard to your bed base.

Can I use this on a bed smaller than 5Ft?

No, this headboard is sized specifically for a 5Ft Kingsize bed and will not align correctly with smaller or larger frames.

How do I clean the fabric?

We recommend light vacuuming with an upholstery attachment. For stains, use a professional fabric cleaner and test on an inconspicuous area first.

Troubleshooting

Headboard feels loose or wobbly

Check that the bolts connecting the struts to the headboard and the divan base are fully tightened.

Struts do not align with divan base

Verify that your divan base has standard pre-drilled holes; if not, you may need to create pilot holes aligned with the strut spacing.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Elegant, modern design fits most decors
  • Sturdy solid wood construction for longevity
  • Provides comfortable support for sitting up in bed
  • Quick and easy installation process
  • Handmade craftsmanship

Cons

  • Specifically designed for UK standard divan frames
  • Requires manual attachment of struts
  • Cannot be cleaned with harsh chemicals

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation is straightforward: align the provided 24-inch struts with the pre-drilled holes on your divan bed base and tighten the bolts firmly. Ensure the headboard is level before final tightening. For compatibility, ensure your bed is a UK standard 5Ft Kingsize divan frame. To maintain the fabric, vacuum gently using an upholstery attachment to remove dust. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or excessive water which may damage the fabric or the internal padding.
