No, it is recommended to clean the surface by hand using a damp cloth and mild soap to avoid damaging the stitching and foam core.
Yes, the Gigantus V2 is optimized to provide high-performance tracking for both optical and laser mouse sensors.
The Espeon and Umbreon edition is specifically designed with the large surface area profile of the standard Gigantus V2.
The mat already features anti-fray stitched edges to prevent this, but avoiding excessive pulling or abrasive surfaces will further protect the integrity of the stitching.
Yes, the mat's flat profile allows for the comfortable placement of a separate wrist rest.
Check the surface for dust or debris and wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Ensure your mouse sensor is also clean.
Ensure your desk surface is clean of dust and debris. Wipe down the underside of the mat with a damp cloth to restore the grip of the rubber base.
To set up your mat, clear your desk surface and roll out the Gigantus V2. Because of the high-density foam, it should lie flat almost immediately; if any edges curl, simply place a flat, heavy book on them for a few hours. The mat is compatible with all optical and laser mouse sensors. To clean, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap and gently wipe the surface. Allow the mat to air dry completely before placing your mouse back on it. Do not machine wash or use harsh chemicals as this may degrade the fabric texture.
