FAQs

Is the Asus PS102 machine washable?

It is not recommended to machine wash the pad. Spot cleaning with a damp cloth is the safest way to maintain the material integrity.

Will my mechanical keyboard fit on this pad?

Yes, at 900 x 400 mm, the mat is large enough to fit most full-sized mechanical keyboards along with ample space for your mouse.

Does the surface work with all mouse types?

Yes, the surface is optimized to provide excellent tracking for both optical and laser sensor mice.

Does the pearl color stain easily?

While the finish is high quality, as with any light-colored fabric, it is more susceptible to visible stains than darker mats. Regular light maintenance is recommended.

What is the weight of the mat?

The mat weighs 650g, providing enough mass to keep it stable on your desk without the need for adhesive backing.

Troubleshooting

The edges of the mat are curling up.

Lay the mat flat and place heavy, flat objects on the corners for 12-24 hours to help the material relax.

The mouse sensor is skipping or tracking inconsistently.

Ensure the surface is free of debris or dust particles. Gently wipe the area with a dry microfiber cloth.

The mat is sliding during use.

Clean the underside of the pad and your desk surface with a damp cloth to remove dust, which can interfere with the non-slip grip.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Simply unroll the mouse pad on a clean, flat surface. Due to the packaging, it may initially have a slight curve at the ends; if this occurs, place heavy books on the corners for a few hours to help it lay perfectly flat.

Compatibility: The PS102 is compatible with all standard optical and laser mouse sensors. It is sized to fit most full-sized mechanical and membrane keyboards.

Care: To clean the Pearl surface, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals, which could damage the fabric weave. Allow the pad to air dry completely before placing your peripherals back on top.
