Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Place the induction hob on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, keeping at least 10 cm of space free.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Compatibility
This induction hob requires cookware with a magnetic base. Test your cookware by seeing if a magnet sticks to the bottom. Compatible materials include cast iron, steel, and enameled iron. Aluminum, copper, and glass cookware will not work unless they have a special induction-compatible base.
Care
- Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the glass ceramic surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can scratch the surface.
- Ventilation: Regularly check that the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
