FAQs

Does this bed fold flat with a sleeping bag attached?

Yes, the twin-pivot hinges are specifically designed to allow the bedchair to fold flat while keeping your sleeping bag inside.

Can I use this on soft or muddy ground?

Absolutely. The bed is equipped with Solar's signature mud feet, which prevent the legs from sinking into soft or marshy ground.

How many legs does it have?

This model features six fully adjustable legs to provide maximum stability.

How should I clean the fabric?

Use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals that may degrade the camouflage fabric.

Is the bedchair heavy to carry?

While robust, it is designed for durability. The frame uses high-quality materials which provide a sturdy platform at the cost of some additional weight.

Troubleshooting

Leg height not locking securely

Check the spring-loaded button on the leg adjustment to ensure it is not clogged with dirt or debris; clean with a brush.

Bed is not level

Ensure all six legs are independently adjusted and that each mud foot is making solid contact with the ground.

Hinges feel stiff

Clear any accumulated sediment or grit from the pivot points and apply a light silicone-based lubricant if necessary.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Folds perfectly flat for convenient storage and transport
Extremely stable on uneven ground thanks to six adjustable legs
Includes non-sink mud feet for soft bank conditions
High-quality, comfortable padding for improved sleep quality

Cons

Slightly heavier due to the robust frame construction
Requires manual adjustment of each leg for leveling

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the bed, release the retention strap, unfold the frame until the hinges lock into position, and adjust each leg by depressing the locking mechanism until it meets the ground level. For compatibility, the bed is designed to accommodate most standard sleeping bags, which can be left on during transit due to the flat-folding design. To care for your bedchair, keep the hinges free of sand and grit to ensure smooth operation. Periodically wipe down the camouflage fabric with a damp, non-abrasive cloth to remove mud and organic debris, and ensure the bed is completely dry before storing it in a damp-free location to maintain fabric integrity.
