FAQs

Can these dodgeballs be used outdoors?

While they can be used outdoors, it is highly recommended to use them on grass or smooth indoor surfaces to prevent scuffing and damage to the material from rough surfaces like asphalt.

Does the set include a pump?

No, the set includes 15 dodgeballs and a mesh carry sack. An inflation pump is not included.

Are these balls suitable for young children?

Yes, the soft-touch construction is specifically designed to be forgiving, making them a safer option for youth sports and school activities.

How do I store the balls effectively?

Use the provided mesh carry sack. The mesh material allows for airflow, which prevents odors and keeps the balls in good condition during storage.

What is the primary material used in the construction?

The balls are constructed from a durable, soft-touch material with moulded grooves to assist with grip and flight stability.

Troubleshooting

Ball feels too hard or bounces erratically

The ball is likely over-inflated. Use a pump with a pressure gauge or slowly release air until the desired soft-touch firmness is achieved.

Accumulated dirt on surface

Wipe the balls with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure they are completely air-dried before placing them back into the storage sack.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Large set allows for simultaneous participation in games
  • Soft-touch material significantly reduces the risk of injury
  • Included carry sack makes storage and transport efficient
  • Consistent flight path helps improve player accuracy
  • Excellent for team-based training exercises

Cons

  • Outer material may scuff if used on rough outdoor surfaces
  • Large quantity requires significant storage space when inflated
  • Not intended for heavy-duty professional competitive environments

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your dodgeballs, follow these guidelines:

  1. Inflation: Use a standard ball pump with a needle adapter. Do not over-inflate, as this can strain the seams and alter the soft-touch feel.
  2. Surface Compatibility: Best performance is achieved on smooth indoor surfaces like wood or vinyl gym flooring. Avoid use on asphalt or concrete to prevent premature wear of the outer skin.
  3. Storage: Always return the balls to the provided mesh carry sack after use. Keep the sack in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup within the mesh.
  4. Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth if the surface becomes dirty. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may degrade the ball material.
