Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installing an Aerothan tube requires more precision than a standard butyl tube. Always inflate the tube slightly before inserting it into the tire to give it shape, which helps prevent folds or pinches between the tire bead and the rim. Ensure your rim tape is in perfect condition to avoid any sharp edges that could puncture the TPU. For care, keep the tube away from extreme heat, such as leaving your bike in a car during summer, and store it in a cool, dry place. Because it is a specialized TPU material, do not attempt to use standard rubber glue patches; only use specific TPU-compatible repair stickers if a puncture occurs.
