FAQs

Does this mirror include magnification?

No, the Muji Aluminium Folding Mirror provides a standard 1:1 reflection without magnification.

What are the dimensions of the mirror?

The mirror measures approximately 164 mm by 126 mm by 5.3 mm.

Is the mirror glass or plastic?

The mirror uses high-quality glass for a clear reflection, housed in an aluminium frame.

Can I use this in the bathroom?

While the mirror is water-resistant, it is best to avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity to prevent moisture from affecting the mirror backing.

How do I protect the mirror while traveling?

It is recommended to place the mirror in a soft cloth pouch or a padded pocket to prevent scratches and impact damage.

Troubleshooting

Mirror does not stay at the desired angle

Ensure the surface is level; if the hinge has become loose, ensure there is no debris trapped in the folding mechanism.

Smudges and fingerprints on the surface

Gently wipe the glass with a clean microfiber cloth; avoid paper towels which may scratch the surface.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

No assembly is required for the Muji Aluminium Folding Mirror. To set it up, simply unfold the frame and adjust the back hinge to the desired tilt angle. To maintain the mirror's clarity, clean the glass surface with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the reflective coating. Store the mirror in a protective pouch or a dedicated pocket in your bag to prevent scratches on the aluminium frame or the glass during transit.
