The Satya Citronella Backflow Incense Cones are ideal for individuals looking to create a soothing, aromatic environment while simultaneously repelling mosquitoes. These vegan and cruelty-free cones are specifically engineered to produce a dramatic, cascading smoke effect when paired with a compatible backflow burner, though they require a steady, draft-free room to maintain the visual flow of the smoke.

While they will still emit scent, they will not produce the backflow 'waterfall' effect if used in a standard horizontal or stick incense holder.

Yes, these cones contain citronella, which is widely recognized for its effectiveness as a natural mosquito repellent.
Check for drafts in the room, such as fans or open windows. The smoke relies on heavy, cool air movement to cascade downwards.
Ensure the base hole of the cone is not blocked by ash and that the burner channel is clean and free of debris.
Setup is straightforward: ensure your backflow burner is on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Always place a mat or coaster under the burner, as some residue from the incense may accumulate over time.
Compatibility is strictly limited to backflow-style burners that feature a hole matching the cone's base alignment. When cleaning your burner, wipe the channel with a damp cloth to remove any oily incense residue that may build up after multiple uses to ensure the smoke continues to flow smoothly.
