The Seconique Guildford Recliner in Grey is an ideal seating solution for individuals looking to maximize comfort in compact living spaces. Its primary benefit lies in the combination of a high-back ergonomic design with a smooth manual recline function, providing a dedicated space for relaxation. While it offers excellent value for small rooms, potential buyers should note that as a manual recliner, it requires physical effort to engage the reclining mechanism and sufficient clearance from walls to fully extend.

No, this is a manual recliner and does not require any electrical power or cables.
Use a soft-bristled brush or vacuum attachment to remove dust. For stains, use a mild upholstery cleaner and test on a hidden area first.
You must leave a small gap of approximately 20cm behind the chair to allow the recline mechanism to extend fully.
Yes, the backrest is usually removable, which makes moving the chair through tight doorways easier.
The Guildford recliner is built for standard adult use; please avoid exceeding 110kg to ensure longevity of the mechanism.
Ensure you are applying sufficient body weight against the backrest while engaging the lever.
Check all bolts connecting the backrest to the base and ensure the chair is on a level floor surface.
Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the metal hinges if movement becomes noisy or stiff.
Assembly is straightforward, typically requiring only the attachment of the backrest to the seat base without the need for complex tools. To maintain the chair, vacuum the fabric weekly to remove dust and debris. For minor spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, damp cloth; do not rub, as this can damage the fabric fibers. Ensure you leave at least 15-20 centimeters of space between the back of the chair and the wall to allow the reclining mechanism to operate without obstruction. Periodically check that all hardware remains tight to ensure safety and stability.
