The 3M ScaleGard Pro SGP145BN-E Water Filter is a carbon block filter with a 1-micron rating and a capacity of 1600 liters at 180ppm. It is designed to protect coffee machines, vending equipment, and steamers from scale build-up, preventing hard scale formation in heating coils that leads to energy inefficiency, downtime, and expensive service calls. This filter reduces chlorine taste and odor, as well as scale-forming minerals, providing recipe-quality water for hot beverages.
