Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper installation is critical for the longevity of this component.
- Compatibility: Verify this part number (810019) against your specific vehicle make, model, and engine type, as hydraulic clutch systems are highly specific to drivetrain configurations.
- Installation: Always ensure the transmission input shaft is clean and free of debris before sliding the CSC into position. Use a light coating of high-temperature clutch grease on the shaft splines.
- Bleeding: Air trapped in the hydraulic line is the primary cause of 'soft' or 'spongy' pedal feel. Use a vacuum bleeder or a pressure bleeding kit to cycle fluid through the system until no air bubbles remain.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the clutch fluid reservoir level. If the fluid appears dark or contaminated, perform a system flush to prevent internal seal degradation.
