Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before beginning your project, ensure the target surface is clean, dry, and entirely free of grease, wax, or oil. While the paint adheres directly to most old paints and varnishes, light cleaning with a mild degreaser is recommended for best results. Use a spatula to stir the paint vigorously for two minutes to ensure the pigments are properly distributed. You can apply the paint using standard brushes or rollers. If you are painting in high-traffic areas like hallways or kitchens, consider applying a Hemway Clear Lacquer over the dried paint for an extra layer of protection. For long-term care, simply wipe down walls with a soft, damp cloth as needed.
