The Fusebox F3011MZ is a robust 11-way consumer unit designed for electricians and homeowners seeking reliable circuit protection for residential or light commercial properties. Its primary benefit is the inclusion of a pre-fitted Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD), which offers essential defense against transient overvoltages, though professional installation by a qualified electrician is strictly required to ensure safety and code compliance.

Yes, it is designed to meet BS EN 61439-3 standards, which covers current requirements for consumer units.
No. Installation of consumer units involves working with mains electricity and must be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with local building regulations.
The Type 2 SPD is designed to handle multiple surges, but if it takes a significant hit, the indicator will change to red, signifying that the module needs replacement.
The unit features a 100A double pole main switch.
It is designed for residential or light commercial installations where standard circuit protection requirements apply.
It means the unit has the capacity to hold 11 individual MCB or RCBO devices, allowing you to manage up to 11 separate electrical circuits.
The SPD cartridge has reached its limit and requires replacement to maintain surge protection.
Check all terminal connections inside the unit to ensure they are torqued correctly and free of debris.
Verify that all main switch and breaker connections are tight; loose connections can cause vibration and electrical arcing.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations. Before mounting, ensure the wall surface is level and capable of supporting the weight of the metal enclosure. When terminating cables, ensure all connections are tight and that no copper strands are loose. For maintenance, a periodic visual inspection should be performed to check the status indicator on the Type 2 SPD unit; if the indicator changes color from green to red, the SPD cartridge has reached the end of its life and must be replaced. Keep the enclosure free from dust and moisture to prevent corrosion.
