Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly of the PawHut Tortoise House is straightforward, typically requiring only standard household tools to secure the frame and attach the legs. When setting up, ensure the habitat is placed on a level surface to keep the structural integrity of the wood and metal components stable. Compatibility with accessories is high; however, because the roof is wood, be sure to use clamp-style lamps or external stands for heat and UV lighting rather than screwing hardware directly into the frame. For care, wipe down the clear panels with a soft cloth to maintain visibility, and empty the pull-out tray regularly to prevent waste buildup. If your pet requires high humidity, consider applying a pet-safe, non-toxic wood sealant to the interior to prolong the life of the fir wood.
