Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Identify the mounting location on a sturdy surface (wall, workbench, etc.).
- Marking: Use the tool holders to mark the screw hole locations.
- Drilling: Drill pilot holes if necessary, based on your wall material.
- Mounting: Align the tool holders with the marked holes and secure them using the provided screws.
- Placement: Place tools on the magnetic strips. Ensure the tool's surface is clean and makes good contact with the magnet.
Compatibility
The tool holders are compatible with a wide range of metal tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and other hand tools. They are designed for tools with a metallic surface that can be held by a magnet. They may not be suitable for tools made of non-magnetic materials.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the magnetic strips with a clean, dry cloth to remove any debris or dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Inspection: Regularly check the tool holders for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the magnets remain securely attached and the mounting screws are tight.
- Maintenance: Avoid overloading the tool holders. Distribute tool weight evenly. Ensure the mounting surface is capable of holding the weight of the tools.
- Safety: Ensure tool placement does not create a safety hazard.
