Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires digging a hole approximately one-third of the post's length into the ground to ensure stability. For soft soil, a post rammer is recommended to avoid damaging the top of the wood. Since the timber is treated for ground contact (HC4), no additional sealing is immediately necessary upon purchase. To maintain the posts, ensure they are kept clear of standing water where possible. While the wood is resistant to decay, you may apply a wood preservative to any cut surfaces if you decide to trim the posts to a different length, as this will expose the untreated inner core.
