Product Information

Full details

The UniBond AERO 360 Compact Moisture Absorber is an ideal solution for homeowners and renters looking to combat excess humidity, mould, and musty odours without the need for electricity. Designed for spaces up to 20m², this silent, non-mechanical system uses specialized crystal refill tabs to capture airborne moisture efficiently. While it provides excellent passive humidity control for bathrooms, kitchens, and closets, it is not a substitute for active dehumidifiers in cases of severe structural damp or flooding.

FAQs

How often should I change the refill tabs?

The longevity of a tab depends on the humidity level and temperature of the room, but they typically last up to two months.

Is the liquid collected in the tank harmful?

The liquid is a saline solution. While not toxic, it can cause eye or skin irritation; always handle with care and keep away from children and pets.

Can I use this in my car?

Yes, it is highly effective for reducing windscreen condensation in vehicles during winter months, provided it is secured on a flat surface.

Does it remove existing mould?

No, it prevents the conditions that lead to mould growth by reducing humidity. Existing mould should be cleaned with an appropriate mould-removal product first.

How do I know when it's time to replace the tab?

You will know it is time to replace the tab when the crystal material has fully dissolved and the tank is filled with the collected liquid.

Troubleshooting

The device is not collecting any liquid.

Check that the room humidity level is high enough for the crystals to react; ensure the device is not placed near a heat source like a radiator.

The refill tab has hardened into a solid block.

This is normal if the device has been in a very dry environment; it will resume absorption once ambient humidity levels increase.

Spilled liquid on a surface.

Clean the area immediately with plenty of water, as the saline solution can leave salt deposits or damage sensitive fabrics.

Pros and Cons

  • Completely silent operation
  • Requires no electricity or batteries
  • Effective at neutralizing musty smells
  • Simple, tool-free setup
  • Compact form factor fits in small spaces

Cons

  • Not suitable for large rooms exceeding 20m²

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your device, simply press the button on the top to open the unit, place the crystal tab onto the support tray, and snap the lid back into position. Ensure the device is placed on a stable, level surface with at least 10cm of clear space around it to allow the 360° airflow to function correctly. When the liquid in the bottom tank reaches the maximum fill line, carefully remove the lid and pour the collected saline solution down a drain. Always wash your hands after handling the refill tabs or the collected liquid, as it may be mildly irritating to the skin.
