FAQs

Can I use fountain pens with this notebook?

Stone paper is non-porous, so fountain pen ink may take a significant amount of time to dry and could potentially smudge.

Is the paper truly waterproof?

The pages are water-resistant and durable, meaning they will not fall apart when wet, but they should not be submerged for extended periods.

Does the notebook come in other colors?

Yes, it is available in Black, Red, Heather Green, and Ocean Blue.

How many pages are in the notebook?

The notebook contains 70 sheets of 120gsm stone paper.

Can I replace the pen loop?

The pen loop is integrated into the binding construction and cannot be replaced if damaged.

Troubleshooting

Pen ink is smudging on the page

Stone paper is less absorbent than standard paper; allow a few extra seconds for the ink to set before turning the page.

Pen loop feels tight

The elastic loop will naturally loosen with minor use; insert the pen slowly to stretch the material over time.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Durable stone paper resists tearing and water damage
  • Compact form factor is perfect for portable note-taking
  • Matching pen is included and stores conveniently
  • Spiral binding allows for flexible positioning and ease of use
  • Water-resistant cover protects contents in diverse conditions

Cons

  • Small sheet count (70 sheets) may require frequent replacement for heavy writers
  • Paper surface texture may feel different than traditional wood-pulp paper
  • Not suitable for expansive diagrams or long-form journaling due to size

Setup, Compatibility & Care

There is no complex setup required for this notebook; simply slide the pen into the loop and it is ready for immediate use. To maintain the integrity of the stone paper, avoid using alcohol-based markers that may take longer to dry on the non-porous surface. If the cover becomes dusty or wet, wipe it down with a dry, soft cloth. To replace the pen, any standard slim-profile ballpoint will fit into the elastic loop should you misplace the original.
