FAQs
Will this bag fit my landing net handle?
The bag measures 125cm by 18cm, which accommodates most standard two-piece or telescopic landing net handles.
Is the material waterproof?
Yes, the bag is crafted from durable, waterproof polyester to contain liquids effectively.
How do I clean the bag?
You can wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and rinse the interior with fresh water, then air dry.
Can I put a wet net in it for several days?
It is not recommended. While the bag is waterproof, moisture trapped for days can lead to mildew and odors; it is best to remove your net to dry once you get home.
Does it have a shoulder strap?
No, it is a roll-up style storage sleeve designed to be placed inside your main luggage or your vehicle.
Troubleshooting
Bag develops an odor after extended use
Wash the interior with warm soapy water and allow it to air dry completely before the next use.
Net handle is too long for the bag
Ensure the handle is fully retracted; if it remains too long, the bag is intended for standard compact landing nets only.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Prevents water and slime from damaging car interiors
- Durable polyester construction for long-term use
- Compact and lightweight for easy storage when not in use
- Matches the aesthetic of other Camfleck range gear
Cons
- Not suitable for oversized or wide-frame specialty nets
- Requires manual rolling technique to seal effectively
- Polyester material requires drying to prevent mildew inside the bag
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up, simply slide your collapsed net handle and frame into the bag. Ensure the bag is rolled tightly to maintain the seal. In terms of compatibility, it fits standard landing nets up to 125cm in length; please measure your specific landing net frame and handle assembly before purchasing to ensure a proper fit. For care, it is recommended to rinse the inside of the bag with fresh water periodically if slime builds up, and always hang the bag out to dry in the shade to prevent mildew from forming inside the polyester lining.
