This solid braid polypropylene rope is 6mm thick and 10 metres (32.8 ft) long. It is black in colour and ideal for various applications including boating, yachting, dock lines, camping, and washing lines. Advantages of this rope include its lightweight yet sturdy construction, buoyancy which makes it suitable for water tasks, and excellent knot-holding capabilities without damage. It is resistant to rot, shrinking, water, oil, gasoline, most chemicals, and is stabilized against UV rays. The core is made of parallel polypropylene fibres. This rope is not suitable for climbing. It is supplied as a continuous length with heat-sealed ends to prevent fraying. Please note that finished lengths may vary by +/- 5% due to environmental factors.
