The Kandy Toys Hydrostorm Water Blaster is designed for children who enjoy active outdoor water play, specifically during summer holidays or pool sessions. Its primary benefit is the foam construction, which allows the blaster to float, preventing loss in the pool during intense play, though users should note that styles and colors vary between units.

The foam is designed to be buoyant and water-resistant, though it should be dried thoroughly after use to maintain hygiene.
Ensure the intake nozzle is fully submerged and there are no obstructions like debris or sand blocking the opening.
Rinse the internal mechanism with fresh water to remove sand or salt crystals that may be impeding the movement of the plunger.
Setup is minimal; the blasters come ready to use out of the packaging. To ensure longevity, rinse the blaster with fresh water after using it in chlorinated pool water or salt water to prevent mineral buildup in the internal seals. Store in a dry, shaded area when not in use to maintain the integrity of the foam material. Do not leave the blasters exposed to direct, intense sunlight for prolonged periods, as this may cause the foam to degrade or discolor over time.
