This listing is for a genuine Knott coupling with a heavy-duty cast hitch head. The cast hitch head includes an integral lock, which can lock the trailer off the towing vehicle to prevent unauthorized coupling or lock the trailer to the towing vehicle to prevent unauthorized uncoupling. This is the KRV20 Model, as fitted to many lighting towers and boat trailers. It is designed for trailers with a gross weight between 1100kg and 2000kg and is suitable for fitting to a 100mm square box section drawbar. It is also suitable for standard 50mm tow balls. The coupling is supplied with a handle, pad, and clamp to fit a 48mm Jockey Wheel and comes ready to fit with no assembly required. It includes a secondary coupling cable and guide (pre-fitted) and is suitable for auto-reverse brake systems. The coupling features a fully galvanized steel construction for maximum strength and durability, and includes an integral jockey wheel bracket and jockey wheel handle.
