Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation is designed to be straightforward. Typically, it involves drilling holes in the mounting surface (floor, stairs, or posts), connecting the balusters using the provided screws and railing caps, and ensuring a firm setup. Precise measurements and pre-drilling are recommended for a secure fit. The maximum recommended spacing between balusters is 4 inches to ensure code compliance and safety.
Compatibility: These balusters are designed for use with standard railing systems for stairs, porches, patios, and fences. They are compatible with various mounting surfaces, including wood, concrete, and metal, provided appropriate fasteners are used (screws are included for general use).
Care: To maintain the appearance and longevity of the balusters, clean them periodically with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the black coating. Due to the rust-resistant coating, extensive maintenance is typically not required.
