The Crometta S Showerpipe 240 is primarily designed for and performs best with high-pressure systems. Performance in low-pressure environments may be reduced.

The 40°C safety lock is a feature of the thermostatic mixer that prevents the water temperature from exceeding 40°C, providing an important safety measure against scalding, especially for children and the elderly.

The complete package includes the overhead shower (Crometta S 240), hand shower (Vario), thermostatic mixer (Ecostat 1001 CL), a 1.6m Isiflex shower hose, a slider for the hand shower, and a shower bar.

Clean the chrome finish with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the surface.

This is an exposed installation system, meaning the thermostatic mixer is visible on the wall and connects directly to the hot and cold water feeds.

Ensure the hot and cold water supply lines are correctly connected and that the water pressure is adequate. Check if the adjustable hot water limitation or the 40°C safety lock has been inadvertently engaged.

Verify that the water pressure in your home meets the system's requirements for high-pressure systems. Check for blockages in the showerhead nozzles (use QuickClean) or the hose. Ensure the EcoSmart flow rate has not been further restricted by external valves.

Check that all connections are tightened correctly. Ensure the seals and O-rings are intact. If leaks persist, the internal components of the thermostat may require servicing or replacement.

Ensure the control mechanism on the hand shower is functioning correctly. Rotate the spray disc firmly to switch between modes. If the mechanism is stiff, limescale may be the cause; attempt to clean with a vinegar solution.
