Carbeth Plants Iresine Bloodleaf Purple Mini Indoor Plant - 2 Pack

No, the Iresine Bloodleaf Purple is native to Brazilian rainforests and requires consistent warmth. It should only be placed outdoors during the warm summer months.

During the growing season, keep the soil consistently moist. Check the top inch of soil daily to ensure it has not dried out.

While the plant may bloom with small, pale flowers, they are often considered secondary to the beauty of the foliage. Removing them helps the plant divert energy into producing denser and more vibrant leaves.

You should repot your plant annually during the spring until it reaches maturity to provide fresh nutrients and adequate root space.

A well-draining, loamy soil mix is ideal to provide necessary moisture retention while preventing waterlogged conditions.

Check the soil immediately; this is likely due to the plant drying out. Water thoroughly and ensure a consistent moisture schedule.

The plant is likely not receiving enough light. Gradually move it to a brighter location with more indirect light.

Pinch back the tips of the stems to encourage side-branching and density, and ensure the plant is getting adequate light.
