FAQs

Can I use this wallpaper in a bathroom?

While the wallpaper is durable and easy to clean, it is not rated for direct water contact or high-moisture environments like inside a shower cubicle.

What tools do I need for installation?

You will need a wallpaper paste, a roller or brush for application, a spirit level for straight edges, a utility knife for trimming, and a smoothing tool.

Is the wallpaper easy to remove?

The paste-the-wall method generally allows for easier removal compared to traditional wallpapers, often allowing the sheets to be peeled off in full strips when the time comes to redecorate.

Does the roll size accommodate standard ceiling heights?

Yes, with a height of 2.8m, the mural is tall enough to accommodate most standard residential ceilings with some excess for trimming.

Will the colors fade over time?

The wallpaper is light-resistant, meaning it is designed to maintain its color intensity under normal lighting conditions.

Troubleshooting

Visible seams between rolls

Ensure the mural edges are perfectly aligned during application and use a seam roller to flatten edges while the paste is still pliable.

Air bubbles appearing after installation

Gently lift the affected area if the paste is still wet and re-smooth, or use a small pin to puncture the bubble and press the air out.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before beginning, ensure your walls are clean, dry, and smooth, as the photographic print may highlight imperfections. Use a high-quality wallpaper adhesive suitable for the paste-the-wall method. Apply the paste evenly across the wall area for one roll at a time. Once the wallpaper is positioned, use a wallpaper smoother to remove air bubbles from the center outwards. To maintain the mural, avoid using abrasive cleaning agents; a soft, damp cloth is sufficient to remove surface debris. The wallpaper is designed to be trimmed using a sharp utility knife once applied to reach your exact dimensions.
