FAQs

How many sheets should I use per wash?

For a regular load (4-5 kg), use 1 sheet. For a small load (2-2.5 kg), use 1/2 a sheet. For extra dirty or large loads, use 2 sheets.

Can I use these sheets in a high-efficiency (HE) washing machine?

Yes, StripWash laundry sheets are suitable for all types of washing machines, including HE models.

Are these sheets safe for sensitive skin?

This particular variant is Scent Free and formulated to be a gentler alternative. However, individual sensitivities can vary. Always check ingredients if you have specific skin concerns.

How do I use them for handwashing?

Dissolve 1/2 a sheet in hot or cold water for a few items, or 1 full sheet for a larger handwash batch. The sheets dissolve quickly.

What is the environmental benefit?

StripWash laundry sheets use 94% less carbon emissions in transport compared to traditional liquid or powder detergents due to their lightweight and compact nature. They also eliminate plastic packaging.

Can I put the sheets in the detergent drawer?

No, the sheets are designed to be placed directly into the washing machine drum with your clothes for optimal dissolution.

What happens to the sheet after washing?

The laundry sheet completely dissolves in the wash cycle, leaving behind no waste, only clean clothes.

Troubleshooting

Sheets do not dissolve completely

Ensure the sheets are placed directly in the drum with the clothes, not in a dispenser drawer. Using a shorter wash cycle or lower water temperature might also contribute to incomplete dissolution. Try using a slightly warmer water setting if fabric allows.

Stains not fully removed

For heavily soiled or stained items, use two sheets instead of one. Pre-treating stubborn stains before washing may also be necessary.

Product seems less effective in very cold water

While designed to dissolve in hot or cold water, extremely cold temperatures might slow the dissolution process. Consider using a warm water cycle for optimal results if fabric care allows.

Pros and Cons

Significantly reduces environmental impact through lower transportation emissions.
Saves considerable storage space in homes.
Eliminates plastic waste associated with traditional laundry detergents.

Effective cleaning performance for everyday laundry needs.
Compact and lightweight, ideal for travel.

Cons

May require two sheets for very large or heavily soiled loads, increasing cost per use.
Not suitable for dispensing into automatic detergent drawers of washing machines.
Some users may prefer the scent options available with liquid detergents.
Requires careful storage away from moisture to prevent sheets from dissolving prematurely.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: No setup is required. Simply take one or two sheets and place them directly into the drum of your washing machine with your clothes. For handwashing, dissolve the required number of sheets in water before adding laundry.

Compatibility: StripWash laundry sheets are suitable for use in all types of washing machines, including high-efficiency (HE) models. They are safe for use with most fabrics and can be used in both hot and cold water.

Care: Store the packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain the integrity of the sheets. Ensure the packaging is sealed after use. The packaging itself is recyclable and biodegradable.
