Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the hot water bottle is clean and free from defects.
- Hold the bottle upright by the neck.
- Fill with hot (not boiling) water. A temperature of around 80°C (176°F) is recommended.
- Fill only to two-thirds of its capacity or no more than the neck.
- Expel excess air by carefully lowering the bottle onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening.
- Securely tighten the screw cap to prevent leaks.
Compatibility:
These bottles are designed for use with hot water. They are not suitable for microwave heating or use with boiling water. Always use a cover or wrap the bottle in a towel to prevent direct contact with skin, especially sensitive skin, to avoid burns.
Care:
- Empty the bottle completely after use.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Ensure the bottle is dry before storing.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the bottle during storage.
- Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
