FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of the armchair?

The armchair measures W68cm (width) x D74cm (depth) x H79cm (height).

Is the assembly difficult?

Assembly is generally straightforward, usually involving screwing the legs into place. Basic tools may be needed, but it's designed for minimal user effort.

What type of fabric is used for upholstery?

The armchair is upholstered in a textured grey fabric, offering a sophisticated look and feel.

Can the walnut wood accents be cleaned with standard furniture polish?

Yes, a wood polish suitable for walnut finishes can be used sparingly on the wood accents. Always ensure it's a gentle product and test in an inconspicuous area first.

Is this armchair suitable for heavy use?

The armchair is built for durability and comfort, suitable for regular use as an accent or lounge chair. For very heavy or commercial use, its design as a stylish occasional chair should be considered.

What is the weight of the armchair?

The armchair weighs approximately 10kg.

Does the grey fabric show dirt easily?

The textured grey fabric is chosen for its aesthetic appeal. While durable, immediate blotting of spills and regular gentle cleaning will help maintain its appearance.

Troubleshooting

Chair wobbles after assembly.

Ensure all four legs are securely tightened. If wobbling persists, check if the floor surface is uneven or if there's a slight manufacturing defect in the legs. Adjust leg placement or contact customer support.

Fabric appears creased or dented.

This is normal for textured upholstery. Gently brush the fabric with a soft upholstery brush or use a handheld steamer on a low setting (test on an inconspicuous area first) to help lift the fibers.

Minor stains on fabric.

Address stains immediately by blotting with a clean, dry cloth. For more stubborn stains, use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild, color-safe fabric cleaner. Always test cleaners on a hidden spot first and allow to dry naturally.

Wood accents look dull.

Wipe the walnut wood parts with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. You can also use a small amount of wood polish suitable for walnut finishes, applying sparingly and buffing gently.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The armchair typically arrives with minimal assembly required. The legs usually need to be attached; this can be done by screwing them into the pre-drilled fittings on the base of the chair. Ensure all legs are firmly tightened before use.

Compatibility: This armchair is designed to complement contemporary, mid-century modern, and eclectic interior design styles. Its neutral grey color makes it adaptable to a wide range of color schemes.

Care: To maintain the pristine look of your armchair:

Fabric: Gently vacuum the upholstery regularly to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then allow to air dry completely. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Wood Accents: Wipe the walnut wood elements (armrest caps and legs) with a soft, dry cloth to maintain their shine. Avoid excessive moisture.
