Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare your surface, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and completely dry before application. Use a utility cutter to trim excess film, ensuring you have a sharp blade to prevent tearing the material. When repositioning, peel the film back gently and smooth it out again; avoid over-stretching the material during this process. For maintenance, avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the vinyl finish; a soft cloth with mild soapy water is usually sufficient. When you are ready for a change, simply use a hairdryer to gently warm the vinyl, which softens the adhesive and allows for a clean removal from the substrate.
