This guide is for scooter owners seeking reliable tire performance and durability. The Michelin Scooter Inner Tube offers excellent resistance to punctures and damage, reducing the risk of pinch flats. While it provides robust protection, users should ensure correct size selection for their specific scooter wheels.

The '3.00-10' refers to the tire size. '3.00' indicates the tire width in inches, and '10' indicates the rim diameter in inches. Always match this to your scooter's tire and rim specifications.
Valve types are often designated by codes like TR4 or TR15. TR4 is typically a straight metal stem, while TR15 is a larger diameter metal stem. Consult your scooter's manual or measure the valve hole in your rim to determine compatibility.
No, this is an inner tube designed for use with tires that require an inner tube (tube-type tires). It is not compatible with tubeless tire systems.
It is recommended to check tire pressure at least once a week, or before any long ride, to ensure optimal performance and safety. Refer to your scooter's manual for the recommended pressure.
While this tube offers excellent resistance to punctures and pinch flats, it cannot prevent all types of flats. Sharp objects can still penetrate the tire and tube, and improper inflation or damage can also lead to flats.
An overlapping splice is a stronger method of joining the rubber ends of the inner tube compared to a butt splice. This increased strength reduces the likelihood of failure at the splice point, leading to greater durability.
Check for any small punctures in the new tube, ensure the valve stem is properly seated and not damaged, and verify the tire bead is sealing correctly against the rim. Re-inspect for pinched tube during mounting.
Ensure the tube is only slightly inflated to give it shape, not fully inflated. This makes it more pliable for insertion. Make sure no part of the tube is caught between the tire bead and the rim.
Verify the correct tube size and pressure are being used. Inspect the tire casing for internal damage or embedded objects that may be causing damage to the tube.
Compatibility: Ensure the inner tube size (e.g., 3.00-10, 3.50-10, 100/80-10) precisely matches your scooter's tire and rim specifications. Verify the valve stem type (e.g., TR4, TR15) is compatible with your wheel rim's valve hole.
Setup: Installation typically involves deflating the tire, carefully removing the old tube, inserting the new tube, partially inflating it to seat it properly, and then mounting the tire back onto the rim. Ensure the tube is not pinched between the tire bead and the rim during installation.
Care: Regularly check tire pressure according to your scooter manufacturer's recommendations. Inspect the tire for any embedded objects or damage. Proper tire inflation is crucial for both performance and longevity of the inner tube.
