On clean, sound masonry, a primer may not be strictly necessary, but it is recommended for highly porous or friable surfaces to ensure better adhesion.
Apply a second coat once the first is fully dry to achieve uniform coverage and depth.
Ensure the surface was completely dry and free from dust or grease before painting; scrape off loose areas and re-prime before repainting.
Before starting your project, ensure the masonry surface is clean, dry, and free from loose debris or moss. If the surface is highly porous, a suitable primer may be required for optimal adhesion. Always stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure the pigment is evenly distributed. For cleaning your equipment, follow the specific instructions on the tin based on the solvent type. Store the container in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly sealed to prevent the paint from drying out between projects.
