Full details

Tikkurila Valtti Color is a flat matt, low build, solvent-based, translucent wood stain. With excellent penetration properties, this matt wood stain provides protection from moisture, UV, and microbial growth. Valtti Color is particularly suitable for application to dense oily timbers where a matt, translucent finish is required. Ideal for protection of wooden buildings, logs, fencing, cladding, weatherboard, furniture, and most exterior applications. Apply to sawn and planed timber, logs, thermally treated, and impregnated wood using a brush, spray, or dip method for best application. Touch dry in 2 - 3 hours and re-coatable after 24 hours. Low-build, translucent wood stain. Minimum content on this size is 900ml. Tikkurila products are canned in Finland and at the point of filling, the volume in the can is 10% less than the unit of measure to allow for tinting of the product. In order to manufacture the required colour, we need the spare volume for the colourant addition. For exterior wooden walls, doors, windows and fences. Matt finish (6-10% sheen). Traditional, solvent-based formula. Penetrates into the wood structure. Available in a wide variety of transparent colours for a natural wood-like appearance. Can be applied by brush, spray or by dipping.
