Safelincs 5DCO Carbon Monoxide Alarm - Digital Display

It is recommended to test the alarm weekly by pressing the test button to ensure it is functioning correctly.

The Safelincs 5DCO Carbon Monoxide Alarm features a 10-year sensor lifespan from the date of purchase.

The digital display shows carbon monoxide (CO) levels starting from 30ppm. It will also display messages indicating low battery or end-of-life status.

The alarm will sound when carbon monoxide levels reach 50ppm. It will also provide a warning "chirp" and digital message for low battery.

It is recommended to use high-quality alkaline AA batteries for optimal performance and to avoid potential issues with voltage fluctuations from rechargeable batteries.

If the alarm sounds, immediately open all doors and windows to ventilate the area and leave the premises. Do not re-enter until the area is confirmed safe. Seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms of CO poisoning.

Gently dust the alarm with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using cleaning sprays or solvents, as they can damage the unit or cause false alarms.

Check that the batteries are inserted correctly, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Try a different set of fresh AA batteries. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed.

Replace both AA batteries with a new set of high-quality alkaline AA batteries. Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted.

Ensure the alarm is not placed near sources of steam, humidity, or fumes (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, garages). Check for external factors like extreme temperature changes. If the issue persists, clean the unit as per instructions and test. Contact customer support if necessary.

Check battery power and connection. If batteries are good and connected, remove and reinsert them. If the display remains blank after trying fresh batteries, the unit may be faulty.
