The Winmau MvG Authentic Steel Tip Darts are designed for serious darts players and enthusiasts who want to replicate the setup of world-champion Michael van Gerwen. These 26g barrels offer superior stability and consistent flight paths for competitive match play or high-intensity practice. While the heavier 26g weight provides excellent momentum, it may require a period of adjustment for players accustomed to lighter or more front-weighted barrel designs.

No, these are steel tip darts designed exclusively for traditional bristle dartboards.
The package includes the standard setup; however, it is recommended to purchase extra flights as they are consumable items.
This specific guide covers the 26g variant. Other weights exist, but they have different weight distribution profiles.
Points only need replacement if they are severely bent or snapped; standard maintenance with a sharpening stone is usually sufficient.
Yes, these darts feature standard threading compatible with most aftermarket aluminum or nylon shafts.
Check if your flights are damaged and replace them; ensure the shaft is fully screwed into the barrel.
Wipe the barrels with a clean, dry cloth to remove natural skin oils or residue from your hands.
Use a specialized sharpening stone to smooth out any burrs on the points that may be snagging on the sisal fibers.
To maximize the performance of your Winmau MvG darts, ensure your flights are square and your shafts are securely tightened before every session. These darts are compatible with all standard dart shafts and flight systems, allowing for customization if you wish to adjust the total weight or drag. Regarding care, keep the barrels dry and store them in a hard-shell case to prevent the points from dulling or bending. If the dart points become blunt, use a professional dart sharpener to restore the tip, but avoid excessive grinding to preserve the metal integrity.
