FAQs

Can I assemble this unit by myself?

While it is possible for one person, it is strongly recommended to have two people to safely handle the larger panels and door installation.

Are the internal shelves adjustable?

The shelves in the side compartment are typically fixed to provide the most structural stability for this design.

What tools do I need for assembly?

You will generally need a screwdriver and a hammer for small panel pins; a power drill on a low torque setting can speed up the process.

How deep is the wardrobe?

The Riano wardrobe is designed to standard depth, ensuring it fits standard coat hangers comfortably.

Is the white finish matte or glossy?

The Riano range typically features a clean, matte white finish that is easy to wipe clean.

Troubleshooting

Doors appear uneven or misaligned after assembly

Adjust the tension screws found on the hinge plates to tilt or shift the doors horizontally and vertically.

Unit feels unstable on the floor

Ensure the floor is level and verify that all cam locks are fully tightened; consider using wall-mounting anchors for added security.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Efficient use of space with a mix of hanging and shelving options
Clean, modern white finish matches most interior color palettes
Separate storage zones help keep different types of clothing organized
Sturdy construction suitable for daily household use

Cons

Requires full assembly, which can be time-consuming
Heavy components may necessitate two people for safe lifting during assembly
White finish requires regular dusting to prevent visible surface marks

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To assemble the wardrobe, ensure you have a clear floor space at least twice the size of the unit footprint. It is highly recommended to use a soft surface, like a rug or the product packaging, to protect the white finish from scratches during construction.

Compatibility: The unit’s neutral white tone is highly versatile, but be mindful of room dimensions as the three-door swing requires adequate clearance in front of the unit.

Care Instructions: To maintain the finish, wipe the surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth followed by a dry microfiber towel. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these may damage the white laminate. Periodically check that all hinge screws remain tight, especially after the first few months of use, to ensure the doors continue to open and close smoothly.
