Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface to be covered is clean, dry, smooth, and free of grease or dust. For best results, clean with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Cut the vinyl wrap to the desired size, leaving a slight overlap if covering edges.
- Peel back a small section of the backing paper.
- Carefully align the vinyl and press it onto the surface, smoothing out from the center outwards to avoid air bubbles.
- Continue peeling the backing paper while simultaneously smoothing the vinyl with a squeegee or soft cloth.
- Trim any excess material with a sharp craft knife.
Compatibility:
This vinyl is best suited for flat, smooth, non-porous surfaces such as:
- Melamine-faced chipboard (MFC)
- MDF
- Lacquered wood
- Glass
- Metal
- Painted walls (smooth finish)
Avoid applying to rough, unsealed, or highly textured surfaces.
Care:
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface. For stubborn marks, a gentle application of warm soapy water should suffice. Any residue left after removal can typically be cleaned with warm soapy water.
