Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unroll the deflated board on a clean, flat surface.
- Locate the inflation valve and ensure it is in the 'closed' position.
- Attach the pump to the valve and inflate the board to the recommended pressure (typically indicated on the valve or board, usually between 15-20 PSI).
- Once inflated, secure the valve cap.
- Insert the upgraded 9-inch US Surf Fin into the fin box at the tail of the board, securing it with the provided screw.
- Attach the leash to the D-ring at the tail of the board.
Compatibility:
The Bluefin Cruise 10'8 is compatible with most standard SUP paddles and personal floatation devices. It's designed for use with a hand pump (usually included with the purchase) and can be transported using a backpack or rolling bag (also often included).
Care:
- Cleaning: Rinse the board with fresh water after each use, especially if used in saltwater or chlorinated water. Use a mild soap and water solution for stubborn dirt, and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Ensure the board is completely dry before deflating and storing to prevent mold and mildew.
- Storage: Store the deflated board in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the stored board.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the inflation valve for debris and ensure it seals properly. Inspect the board for any signs of wear or damage.
