The Victron SmartSolar Controller gathers energy from your panels to store in your battery bank. Using the latest technology, SmartSolar maximises this energy, monitoring to achieve full charge in the shortest period, whilst protecting battery life and health. The SmartSolar charge controller will recharge a severely depleted battery with a voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently damaged. Features include Smart Bluetooth Connectivity with Victron Connect App, Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), Programmable Charge Profiles, and a Load output perfect for LED lighting. It also offers Automatic Voltage Detection. The maximum open circuit voltage is 75volts and the maximum charge current is 10amp. MPPT technology ensures that every last amp of available power is used from your panels by real-time monitoring of the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels. This advantage is most noticeable when the sky is cloudy and light intensity is changing. You can control and check your SmartSolar MPPT charger from anywhere by connecting it to your smartphone or another device using the VictronConnect App. If your setup is connected to the internet through a Cerbo GX device, you can use the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) to access your MPPT charger from anywhere in the world. Both VictronConnect and VRM are free to use. If you don't have an internet connection nearby, you can monitor your MPPT charger by connecting the GlobalLink 520. The intelligent Load output function prevents running batteries 'flat' by allowing you to configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects a load, preventing excessive drain on your battery. The intelligent SmartSolar will attempt a 100% recharge every day, and if it cannot due to poor conditions, it raises the disconnect voltage daily until a full charge is achieved, maintaining battery health and longevity.
