Product Information

Full details

This budget-friendly self-adhesive vinyl wrap is a versatile solution for transforming surfaces in your home. It's ideal for covering worktops, kitchen doors, and furniture like drawer fronts or wardrobe doors, offering a cost-effective alternative to buying new. The vinyl is heat-resistant up to 75°C and durable for easy cleaning. As a non-permanent DIY solution, it's perfect for tenants or landlords, as it can be removed fairly easily with a hairdryer, and any residue can be cleaned with warm soapy water. Made in Germany, dc fix vinyl boasts a 5-star rating for adhesion, opacity, lightfastness, shrinkage, and durability. Its water-based, low-tack adhesive allows for repositioning during application, bonding fully within 24 hours. For seamless application on worktops, overlap the film slightly to accommodate shrinkage. Cut out areas for sinks and trim excess. The backing paper features a grid for precise cutting. For curved surfaces, use a hairdryer to warm and make the vinyl more pliable. To ensure water tightness around sinks and hobs, apply silicone sealant. Clean with regular household cleaners, avoiding scrubbing and wiping spills immediately. Protect the vinyl from sharp objects by using worktop savers. While heat-resistant for hot plates and cups, avoid direct contact with hot pans and keep away from naked flames.
