Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon receiving the bike, ensure all components are securely fitted. It's recommended to have the bike assembled and checked by a professional mechanic to ensure safety and optimal performance. Inflate tires to the recommended pressure, typically found on the tire sidewall.
Compatibility: The bike is designed to work with standard cycling accessories. The Bosch Smart System is compatible with the Bosch eBike Flow app for firmware updates and ride tracking. Ensure any aftermarket accessories, such as child seats or panniers, are compatible with the frame and integrated carrier system.
Care: Keep the bike clean by wiping it down with a damp cloth after rides, especially after exposure to dirt or rain. Regularly check tire pressure and brake pad wear. Clean the drivetrain (chain, cassette, chainrings) periodically and apply lubricant to ensure smooth operation. Store the bike in a dry place. The battery should be charged regularly and stored between 20% and 60% capacity if the bike is to be stored for extended periods (over a month).
Charging: Use only the official Bosch charger provided with the bike. Ensure the battery contacts are clean and dry before charging.
