Setup, Compatibility & Care
When your 4-litre potted rose arrives, remove the packaging carefully and water the root ball thoroughly. Choose a planting location with well-draining, fertile soil. If planting in a container, ensure you use a high-quality rose compost and a pot at least 40cm in diameter to allow for future root growth. During the first year, keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Feed with a balanced rose fertilizer starting in early spring and continuing monthly until late August to support the extended flowering season. Deadhead faded blooms to encourage the plant to redirect energy toward new buds.
