The Laser 8446 wheel bearing kit is specifically designed for Mercedes-Benz Viano and Vito rear wheel bearings. It allows for on-vehicle removal and fitting with minimal component removal. The kit ensures bearings are fitted by applying pressure only to the outer casing, preventing damage to the new bearing. It is made in Sheffield and supplied in an EVA foam tray and metal box. Applications include Mercedes-Benz chassis type W639, including Viano (from 2003), Vito Mini Bus (from 2003), Vito Mixto (From 2003), and Vito Van (from 2003). A special 'C' plate is included for safe removal of the inner bearing ring from the drive flange, eliminating the need for an angle grinder. The Laser 8446 is designed to work without removing the ABS sensor and is compatible with OEM bearing numbers 639 981 04 27, A 639 981 04 27, 713667980, and 6393340006. Important: Ensure the threaded bar and thrust bearing are well lubricated with molybdenum disulphide grease before use. This is an EU Registered Design.
