Simply engage the release lever located inside the handle grip to disengage the locking mechanism.
They feature a satin finish for protection, but they should be kept dry and wiped down after use to prevent corrosion.
Adjust the knurled screw at the base to increase pressure by rotating it clockwise.
Apply a small amount of penetrating oil to the pivot point and work the lever back and forth.
Ensure the serrated teeth are clean and reposition the curved jaw to maximize surface contact area.
To set up the pliers, rotate the knurled screw at the base of the handle until the jaws meet the object size, then clamp the handles together until you hear the lock click. For precise tension, insert a 5mm hex key into the adjustment screw. To release, simply operate the one-hand release lever. To maintain the life of your Sealey pliers, keep the moving parts lubricated with a light machine oil. Regularly inspect the hardened teeth for debris and wipe them clean after use to ensure consistent grip. Store in a dry environment to prevent surface corrosion, despite the durable satin finish.
