Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure and mark the desired length on the trim.
- Cut the trim to size using a fine-toothed saw or appropriate cutting tool.
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust.
- Apply a suitable grab adhesive to the back of the trim, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions, or pre-drill holes for screw fixing.
- Press the trim firmly into place against the wall. If using adhesive, allow adequate curing time before stressing the trim.
- For screw fixing, use appropriate screws for your wall type and ensure they are countersunk for a flush finish.
Compatibility:
This trim is compatible with most standard wall surfaces including plaster, drywall, painted surfaces, wallpaper, and tiles. Its flat profile is designed to sit flush against the wall, making it a versatile finishing piece.
Care:
The trim can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the uPVC surface.
